The 100th Anniversary of the commencement of World War One occurs during 2014.  To coincide with the occasion, Craigavon Borough Council has developed a range of programmes including a one off special grant scheme, to assist with the running of events which are organised by community groups in the Craigavon Borough Council area to mark the anniversary.

Craigavon Borough Council has developed a small grants scheme which aims to support groups operating in the Craigavon Borough to run events and projects to mark the centenary anniversary of the commencement of World War One and to deepen understanding of this period.

This is a rolling grants programme with a limited budget for projects occurring between June and 31st December 2014. Groups are encouraged to apply at least four weeks prior to the commencement of their project. Groups can apply for a maximum of £500.

Application forms are available to download from the Craigavon Borough Council website www.craigavon.gov.uk or from the address below or by telephoning 028 3831 2420.
