FINAL CALL FOR APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN – MEASURE 3.5

Down Rural Area Partnership is now open for grant applications for capital projects under Measure 3.5 – Village Renewal and Development.

Projects should be based within, or demonstrate impact on, the rural local authority area of Ards, Banbridge, Down and North Down. Rural is defined as a settlement with a population of 4,500 or less. Please refer measure guidance under the available funding section for more details on eligible applicants, the application process and levels of grant aid available.
In addition to the general eligibility rules of the scheme only those applications meeting the following evidence based criteria at the date of application will be admitted as eligible for consideration:
•           Full Planning Permission, to include change of use (and other Statutory Requirements) must be in place.
•           The project end date is no later than 30th September 2014.
•           Evidence of match funding must be in place.
•           Potential projects must be identified as part of an up to date village plan (published after December 2006).
All successful applications will be subject to available funding. If you have already applied and received a Letter of Offer you are not precluded from making an additional application under this call for a new project.
Applications can be made online from now through the EU Grants website www.eugrants.org or a hardcopy application form can be obtained by contacting the office on 028 9182 0748. This call will close on Friday 16th May 2014 at 4:00pm. Applications submitted after the above closing date and time will not be accepted.
