TADA RSN and COSTA is hosting a Best Practice Study Visit Day looking at a grass roots rural hall and an award winning rural business both funded by SWARD Local Action Group under Measures 3.4 and 3.2).

The visits will take on Thursday 18th September 2014, 10:00am to 3:00pm (congregating at COSTA at 10:00am to leave for Bawn Hall at 10:30am) and are organised through the DARD-funded Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) and the Local Rural Support Networks (LRSNs).

The site visits will take place in Bawn Hall (Bawn Crossroads, Castletown Road, Aughnacloy, BT69 6ED) and Todd’s Leap (Todd’s leap Road, Ballygawley, BT70 2BW).

The day aims to provide an experiential visit to two organisations to learn from their best practice, share information on Rural Social Economy, and Network with other rural community based groups from right across Northern Ireland.

Lunch and Refreshments are included FREE of charge for all participants but places are limited.  Free transport will be provided for all participants.

Those attending the visit at Todd’s Leap are strongly advised to bring sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing as it is anticipated, the visit will also involve a tour, on foot, of various locations and activities.
