209 TADA Rural Support Network hosted a networking event on Thursday 17 September 2015 at our Carn offices.

Many rural community groups, elected representatives and statutory & voluntary organisations attended with the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Lord Mayor Darryn Causby as distinguished guest.

The open day gave the participates a chance to talk to the TADA staff and Board about their remit of work as part of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Michelle O’Neill’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation Strategy (TRPSI).

The Farm Family Health Check van, Police & Community Safety Partnership and MARA (Maximising Access in Rural Areas, were also in attendance offering practical support and advice.216
